For the headquarters of LimeGreen, a cross-cultural marketing agency, we transformed a historic timber-frame loft into a workspace that breathes. The design centers on the concept of "Industrial Transparency"balancing the raw, tactile warmth of original Douglas Fir beams with sleek, modern architectural interventions. To foster both focus and flow, we moved away from standard systems furniture. We engineered custom-fabricated workstations and "Studio" pods using translucent L-wall partitions. These elements define individual space and provide acoustic dampening without sacrificing the reach of natural light.The agency’s identity is literally woven into the architecture. A signature "lime green" light-well serves as a vibrant focal point in the transition corridor, casting a branded glow that energizes the neutral palette of the wood and plexiglass. A sophisticated, high-energy environment where historic Chicago character meets the transparency required for modern, collaborative storytelling.
